“Keep enjoying the simple moments with your mom and every little adventure, for they will live in every fiber of your being as your mother’s light dims.” My high school coach’s message found me when I needed it most.

Dear Terry, I knew even before finishing this read that the e mail was from Andrea, now a close friend and a terrific coach back in our high school days. So beautifully written. Caregiving can be very draining! I have taken care of both my father and my mother at the end of their lives. Although it was sad, scary, exhausting, depressing and lonely at times. I am grateful I had that time with them. Love is so powerful in so many ways. Have a beautiful day. <3
